Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Portal Project platform (the "Service"), operated by Portal Project ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2 Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3 Permitted Use

The Service is provided for lawful business purposes related to integration tracking, commissioning, and project management. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written authorization

4 Intellectual Property

Our Property: The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Portal Project and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

Your Content: You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

5 Subscription & Fees

Access to the Service may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and plan details are described on our pricing page. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

6 Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

7 Data & Backups

While we perform regular backups of the Service infrastructure, you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of critical data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from user error, account deletion, or events outside our reasonable control.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portal Project shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Portal Project, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time through the Service settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.

12 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
