Does it work offline on the jobsite?
Yes. The desktop app (Windows) is built offline-first. Field crews can use checklists, blueprints, and notes without a connection. Changes sync when connectivity is restored.
How is this different from general PM tools?
Generic project management and construction tools aren't built for device-level work. Portal Project is built specifically around install tracking, field commissioning workflows, and the field-to-PM pipeline that integrators actually use.

How does per-builder pricing work?
You pay per builder seat — the people actively creating and managing projects. Viewers (PMs, GCs, stakeholders, clients) are always free and unlimited. Add or remove builder seats anytime; changes are prorated.
Is my data secure?
AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, row-level security per organization via Supabase, and all data is yours — export anytime.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your project data, device history, and reports are yours. Export everything before cancellation. Data is retained for 30 days after account closure.
